The Accessories Navigator is a flexible e-commerce platform designed to meet the specific requirements of original accessories sales. Thanks to our omni-channel principle, branded car dealerships can reliably reach their customers wherever and whenever they are looking for accessories: at home, on the road, or directly at their local dealership; when individualizing their new or used car or upgrading the vehicle they already own.

Task: Central platform for marketing and selling accessories at all relevant customer touchpoints for car dealership customers.
Solution: Browser and Google Cloud-based web application with original accessories catalogs from more than 35 manufacturers for more than 10 countries in Europe. Dealership customers can see accessories digitally in the showroom, online on the dealership website, in vehicle exchanges and on the national manufacturer website.
Perspective: Expansion to include functions for directly addressing customers who have just purchased a new or used vehicle in order to individualize it with suitable accessories.

The accessories navigator and its 3 main components

The accessories navigator offers every brand dealership the opportunity to market accessory products quickly and easily in various digital channels. The effort involved is minimal! The Accessories Navigator already has all original articles in the system. These are updated on an ongoing basis. This guarantees a quick and easy start for every car dealership. Almost all settings can be configured individually if required.

  1. The accessories navigator on the web
    Integration of the accessories into any website, e.g. on the manufacturer's or importer's website, on the website of a car dealership group with multiple locations and brands, or on the website of an individual car dealership with one or more brands.
  2. The accessories navigator at the point of sale
    With solutions such as our QR code magnetic foils, QR code mirror hangers or the accessories terminal, car dealerships present accessories offers to their customers digitally in the showroom in a modern, attractive and efficient way.
  3. The accessories navigator for the car exchange
    Configure new or used cars in the online vehicle exchange - that's exactly what the accessories navigator makes possible. No more missed purchases if, for example, a trailer coupling is missing.

The accessories navigator on the dealership website

The accessories navigator enables the presentation of all original accessories on the company website of a brand car dealership. This makes the company's own website the first address for interested parties looking for accessories on the Internet, after all, 70% of accessories buyers do.

In addition, this product presentation can be easily expanded into a full-fledged web store. The customer can then also buy and pay for products online, either for pickup, assembly or shipping. Which of the three purchase options is available is entirely up to the dealership.

For car dealership groups, there is the option of integrating a location selection into the store, so that the customer can, for example, select a location for pickup, while this is irrelevant for shipping.

The accessories navigator on Point of Sale

The solution is: The digital product presentation of the entire range (of all contract brands) in the showroom. With our accessory terminal, customers can find the products easily and conveniently on an iPad, which is well positioned (e.g. in the waiting area) to attract attention. Optimized access to the full range of products creates new incentives to buy, awakens additional demand and, incidentally, shortens customers' waiting times in an entertaining way. Self-service also reduces the workload of the sales staff.

Also suitable are our QR magnetic foils from the accessories navigator. They are magnetically attached to vehicles on display. They are model-specific, can be used several times and removed again without leaving any residue. The customer scans the QR code with his smartphone and immediately sees all accessory products that fit the preselected vehicle model. Dealer identification and preselection takes place on the basis of the customer's location, which also ensures that the correct prices are displayed.

The accessories navigator for the car exchange

The accessories navigator enables the intelligent integration of accessories in the vehicle exchange. This means that customers can already find out in the information phase what options are available for individualization with suitable accessories and what these products would cost, including installation. The prices, in turn, are set by the dealer.

The statistics show how important this is: approx. 80% of accessory sales take place in the course of vehicle sales. With the accessories navigator, customers can configure a car with additional accessories before they buy it and thus tailor it perfectly to their needs. If the customer then contacts the dealer, the selected accessories are immediately transmitted and the dealer can make the customer a suitable offer.

The accessories navigator outside of Germany

The Accessories Navigator is going online in more and more international markets. We are supported by our global agency partners and various manufacturers. Through the many projects, the Accessories Navigator can already be used in over 10 countries for a total of more than 35 manufacturers.
